The Spring Ride is coming up quick. I have the core planning completed at this time. We’re leaving on May 23rd from the Flying J, and returning on May the 30th – which gives us working stiffs time to rest up before we go back to the salt mines. We’re going to do some nice easy ~300 mile days but they are all going to be beautiful! We’ll get four different Ride 365 checkpoints – Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Mississipi. We’ll have plenty of opportunities to collect Dealership Check in challenges along the way as well. We’ll stay two nights in Memphis, and we’ll have plenty of time to go to Beale Street – they even have Bike Night while we’re there. We’ll be able to go see Graceland, eat BBQ, and see the legendary Stax Recording Studio – and there’s quite a bit more than that. I’m reaching out to local HOG chapters for advice and they’ve all been very helpful. On the way back, we’ll go through Tupelo (can’t go to Graceland without going to Tupelo), then pick up the Natchez Trace Parkway and go to Vicksburg. We’ve got two days scheduled there as well; I am going to see the Civil War battlefield and museums while I’m there and I hope most of you will want to join me. From there we ride home.
Please let me know if you would like me to add you to the distribution list for the ride.
